Rio de Janeiro Tax Litigation Forum

The Rio de Janeiro Tax Litigation Forum will bring together judges, members of the public administration, representatives of administrative courts, prosecutors, lawyers, and specialists to discuss the main challenges and perspectives of Brazilian tax litigation in light of the implementation of the Tax Reform.

Promoted by the Tax Debate Group (GDT) in partnership with the School of Magistrates of the State of Rio de Janeiro (EMERJ) , the event will feature a keynote lecture and thematic panels dedicated to current issues, such as jurisdictional conflicts, harmonization between administrative and judicial litigation, the transition from ICMS and ISS to IBS, and coordinated tax enforcement.

This will be an opportunity to promote dialogue among the various actors in the tax system, encourage the exchange of experiences, and contribute to the development of legal solutions aligned with the new challenges of the Brazilian tax landscape.
